A refrigerator truck with naked bodies of four females is found on the border of Finland. Each of the girls share the same neck tattoo that resembles a house. The identities of the the girls are yet to be found. Three years later, the police arrest Valeria Mazyane, an orphaned girl and a recent Islam convert who lives in Moscow in a Kyrgyz immigrant community. The police believe she killed her husband’s brother. It turns out that Valeria is not an orphan after all, and her past is as mysterious as the man’s murder. And under her wedding hijab, there’s a familiar house tattoo.

While awaiting his release from the Soviet detention camp he is being held in, a half-starved refugee (Andras Ambrus) finds that an error has been made and his name is not on the to-be-released list. It is then that he is forced to assume the identity of a dead man whose name is on the list. Ambrus at first refuses, but because he was an orphan and cannot produce evidence of his true identity, he has no other choice. However, when he returns to the outer world and the community he was raised in, he is greeted with suspicion. When he tries to claim his part-ownership of a farm from his adopted uncle, he is refused and beaten by farmhands the uncle sets on him.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Search is a reality TV show produced by NBC that debuted in January 2005, prior to the launch of that year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.The purpose of the show was to document twelve previously unknown fashion models as they competed against one another for a grand prize. In this case, it was a pictorial in the 2005 edition of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and a modeling contract with NEXT Model Management worth one million US dollars.The twelve contestants were chosen after NBC and Sports Illustrated launched a nation-wide search, processing around 3,000 potential women.The three-judge panel consisted of Roshumba Williams, Joel Wilkenfeld and Jule Campbell.Competitions would include how well the contestants did on their photo shoots and their rigorous fitness tests.
